This is a fine example of Art Deco design and built in a true modernist style.
This oak sideboard is an unusual design which I’ve never seen before.
The legs have an ebonised lower band
Four graduated front drawers with two cabinets which are shelved inside. The interesting aspect is the two cupboard spaces which are also shelved on each end of the piece. Probably made by the good furniture company during the 1930’s and retailed in a London department store. Possibly Heals.
